Ooops! I wrote another one!
(Don’t worry, the title will make sense if you read it.)
A book regarding negative body image came into my head over Christmas so I set to writing it out in the New Year. This one is not about eating disorders, it is about negative body image and those are not the same thing. They often co-occur of course, but remember that a person can have NBI without having an eating disorder and vice versa,
Anyhow, this is a teeny-tiny little eBook that focuses on what you need to to in order to teach your brain out of negative body image.

Hi Tabitha, I am a 19 year old who has recovered from atypical anorexia. I am messaging you because your materials were fundamental to my recovery a few years ago, and I really absorbed all of your advice. I am very grateful to you and the work you do. I have had some difficulties lately however of falling back into old patterns, which I think is a slightly less covered topic online. I was wondering if you would be willing to answer a couple of questions of mine. If set point theory is true, why did I keep gaining weight slowly over the years after recovering from my eating disorder, rather than staying stable, to the point where the BMI tells me I am currently overweight and my mum has suggested I look too large? How can a person, if at all, lose weight healthily when they have a history of anorexia? Does mental hunger and extreme eating come into play even when a person has been restricting a small amount and has not lost a significant amount of weight? I am stuck in an incredible rut at the moment and find myself feeling lost and trapped in my own body – it feels as though doctors and counsellors do not know what to do with me. I am reaching out hoping you can help guide me a little, since you helped me so much before. Thanks for your time, and I hope you’re doing well.
